The only daisy to pass the CE/UIAA Sling Standard
Metolius’ Ultimate Daisy is made of 11 mm Dyneema Monster Sling webbing, with each loop rated to 22kN.
Traditional daisy chain loops are rated for body weight only, making them unsafe for use in an anchoring system, and they can fail if two pockets next to each other are clipped simultaneously. The Ultimate Daisy solves these problems by constructing a chain of individual loops rated to 22 kN. Sure, it’s a bit bulkier than traditional chains, but the Ultimate Daisy is more versatile and much stronger.
