Stable and secure ultra-thin crack pro
Trango BallNutz are thin crack protection at its finest. Using a sliding ball/ramp concept, BallNutz will protect parallel-sided cracks, flares and bombays from 3mm to 16mm. The three smallest sizes have a 2:1 expansion range resulting in unmatched security in chossy rock or expanding flakes and the two largest sizes will make you wonder why you ever used tiny cams. While these units are excellent at clean aid (used on the 1st clean ascent of The Shield), they are also terrific free-climbing protection where the cracks are thin and/or shallow. Use these instead of 00 or 0 cams for shallow placements, wide flares, directional stability and easy removal. Includes sizes 1 through 5.
